This was an incredible experience, my fiance and I were in a double kayak and we had so much fun. The scenery and landscape is just breathtaking there, and to be able to get in the caves and see them from inside was brilliant. Our tour guide was absolutely brilliant, really fun and took lots of photos. The break to have a dip in the sea was a lovely touch as it was hot! You get a choice whether to kayak back or be towed. Highly recommend, hands down one of the highlights of our trip.
Definitely do this tour! Friendly guides and magnificent experience all around!

We had a wonderful time! Service at the start was quick, efficient and friendly. All the staff were great - super nice and helpful. The trip was magnificent and not hard (although my arms were a bit still the next day

Enjoy one day doing kayak and take a sunrise or sunset time for, a nice views and some place to eat close the beach.

I feel terrible for forgetting our tour guides name, but he mentioned his grandfather being conceived in the lovers cave. He was very informative and the whole experience was great!
We weren't able to snorkel because the water was too dirty with seaweed. But regardless it great kayaking experience

I forget my guides name but apparently his grandfather was conceived in one of those caves. He was an amazing tour guide with a great personality and energy.

Our base was Novotel Tainui, Hamilton NZ. Visited Hobbiton, whakarerewa, concerts every night. The highlight was a visit to the Waitomo Caves, where we had the amazing and spiritual concert in the caves themselves.

Amazing views if the cliffs and caves that are only accessible from the water. This excursion is suitable for all levels and experience of kayaking. You kayak with the wind and current and then get towed back.

Great experience but misogynistic guide

We were part of a group of five kayaks, similar to the previous review left the experience felt rushed although a great experience to kayak at sea.
However the biggest issue for me was the guide Wolf whistling and cat calling girls and women on the beach and making misogynistic remarks throughout the trip. He needs brought to the 21st century. His creepiness was off the scales.

Cool views but very crowded and rushed

We went as a group of 5. Three other Kajak groups startet with us at approximately the same time. Our guide was friendly and showed us a lot of cool spots. Unfortunately the whole trip felt very rushed. We couldn’t really enjoy the views because we always had to move fast because other groups where right behind. We also had to wait a lot in non interesting places for the other groups to finish their cave view. In the end we had approximately 15 minutes at the beach before going back. It seems that the organizers of the tour just want to take as much tourists as possible without worrying about the actual experience
