Seafaris was the first company in the Algarve to search for Dolphins in their natural habitat and our specialist team has over 30 years’ experience providing unforgettable day trips along the stunning coastline of Southern Portugal. Feel the thrill of the wind in your face as we glide across the glistening Atlantic Ocean in search of beautiful bottlenose and common dolphins or even other different spieces of Wild life, before we gently settle amongst the pods to watch them dance and play in their natural habitat. Our fully-certified skippers have an excellent knowledge of dolphin activity in the area, with sightings in over 95% of trips. Tours last approximately 90 minutes, and run throughout each day from Lagos, Alvor and Portimão. We recommend guests arrive at least 15 minutes before their departure time, and bring with them sun protection, water, and, of course, their camera!

We offer a choice of boat rides to suit every wish, including our renowned dolphin search aboard the famous inflatable ribs, which brings you fully into the action. Absolutely gorgeous

It was absolutely beautiful, we were so lucky to see so many dolphins on the boat trip. The tour guides were also super friendly and informative. I would recommend this boat trip to anyone! Even if you’re unlucky to not see any dolphins you still get amazing views.

Amazing experience

We were lucky as the captain found the dolphins really quickly and we spent about 30-40 minutes with them. It was an amazing experience, thank you:)

Highly recommend, an incredible experience!

This was one of the best things I've ever done! Seeing the dolphins in their own habitat was amazing, the boat was able to get really close and then jumped out of the water and swam along the side of the boat. We saw loads. The crew were fab, lots of information but also moments of silence where you could just take it all in. Highly recommend, worth every penny.

Fun boat trip

Loved this trip, the boat trip was a lot of fun and the views were stunning, unfortunately we did not get to see any dolphins but it was not through lack of trying on the guides part but regardless we still enjoyed the trip. All of the staff were very friendly and welcoming. Definitely recommend!!

Must do! Seafaris is amazing!

What an incredible experience! The captain and crew were remarkable! The boat was fast, comfortable and safe. Adriana, a marine biologist, was extremely knowledgeable about the dolphins (the babies, the pregnant moms, their different colouring and behaviour patterns.) We were fortunate to have very calm seas so we drove at a good speed to the secret dolphin location. Adriana estimated that we were surround by about 20 dolphins. They literally swim directly beside and under the RIB. We got incredible videos and great memories to last a lifetime! Highest recommendation!

Fantastic weather, boat, staff & dolphins

We have a wonderful trip, enjoyed by my husband, our 14 year old son and I. The staff were professional and friendly. We had the honour of floating alongside about 10 dolphins for a long time, it was a wonderful experience. Thanks.
