Not to be missed! Lagos Grotto Trips takes you to see the Benagil caves, located between Praia do Carvoeiro and Armação de Pêra and placed on the top 10 list of the most famous caves in Europe!
We leave Lagos Marina, passing by Alvor, PortimĂŁo and Carvoeiro, enjoying the view of beautiful beaches and the Algarve coastline. We will first visit the caves of Carvoeiro and finally, the most famous caves of the world - Algar de Benagil.
The caves are truly amazing with its clear water and rock formations of unparalleled beauty, an experience that will create memories for life!
Our trip takes place in a completely new 18-seater rigid inflatable boat (RIB) on padded benches providing genuine comfort during the trip.
All of our tours are led by experienced guides who offer a very personalized service as each one of our clients is important to us and our company.

We met Connie at the kiosk our first day in Lagos and told her we had booked online for the next day. We had a great chat with her and she greeted us at the marina the next morning. We had an amazing tour with Angela and Antonia. They spoke several languages and were so knowledgeable about the caves! Plus they were entertaining. A highly recommended tour!!
Small and fast boat that gets you inside the caves!

Most valuable feature about this tour is that this is a small boat and that actually helps because they are able to take the boat inside most of these caves. We saw other bigger boats that would just stop outside and the customers wouldn’t even experience the full caves. Friendly staff, reasonable price, don’t miss out on this one if you’re looking for a low-effort way to see the caves

Absolutely great. Very professional and lots of fun. We managed to sit at the very front of the boat and the views were amazing. Do not skip this trip if the weather is good. Worth every very reasonable Euro!

Ivo and Ivana were wonderful tour guides! A very fun tour that I would highly recommend. The boat trip was awesome and the caves were truly beautiful. Connie, who works the booth on the pier, was so helpful too.

Great trip and the guides were fantastic. If you get sea sick easily, would recommend staying away. Otherwise a fantastic experience while in Lagos.

We were really pleased we picked this boat tour. The tour guides (think they were called Antonio and ramon- we lost the card with their names on) were really funny and knowledge about the caves. Not only did we see the caves but they stopped the boat so we could see the dolphins! Because we were in a speedboat we were really low down and close to the water and the dolphins! Definitely recommend.
